Radiology Technologist- Orthopaedic Specialists (Full Time)

Department: Orthopaedic Specialists
Location: Lake Charles, LA

Works closely with all Radiology personnel including the Chief Technologist, Administrative Director, and Radiologists to perform technical procedures in the Department of Radiology to include fluoroscopy, general diagnostic, operating room, trauma room, and portable procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or registry eligible, with Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • Current licensure to practice professional radiographer in Louisiana.
  • CPR certification.
  • Must maintain required hours of in-service per year to meet requirements for CEU’s as stipulated by the AART.
  • Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel.
  • Requires emotional stability and resilience.
  • Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrate foresight.
  • Exhibits organizational and leadership ability. Shows ability to gain and maintain support and respect.
  • Ability to concentrate on detailed work with constant interruption; to understand and relate to specific ideas generally, several at a time, and remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time.
