Master's Level Clinician

Department: Intensive Outpatient Psychiatric
Location: Lake Charles, LA

Description/Purpose of Position: The Master Level Clincian is accountable for Bio-Psych-Social history and   summarizing, development of an interdisciplinary crisis stabilization plan of care, patient and family educational sessions, conduct educational groups, participates in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and needs of patients/ family, and implementation and discharge planning of patientís aftercare. The   Master's Level Clinician is accountable for audits of medical records for   quality of patient care; participation in performance improvement and quality management process within the department; education of case management staff   on treatment and discharge planning. The Master's Level Clinician serves as a   member of the Psychiatric Service Leadership Team.      

Minimum Qualifications: EducationMaster's Degree in Social Work or Psychology

Experience: Prefer 2- 4 Years Experience in working with mentally ill &/or addictions Technical  

Skills: Knowledgeable of Various Computer programs, 2 yr. similar experience preferred.

License/Certification: MSW or MA - Preferred Licensure of LCSW or LPC,   Crisis Response Training, CPR

Other:Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel; Advanced mathematical skills.
