HR Specialist/Compensation Specialist

Department: Human Resources
Location: Lake Charles, LA

The Human Resources Specialist (Compensation Specialist) works closely with the HR Manager for Compensation and Benefits to ensure that, on a day to day basis, the pay practices are adhered to in the organization.  This position will be responsible be responsible for helping maintain a fair and equitable grade structure and hiring guidelines within the Lake Charles Memorial Health System.  This position will be responsible for maintaining all data related to compensation within the HRIS system.  The position will also be a resource to managers, directors, and recruiting concerning all compensation matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Finance, or a business related degree
  • 3 plus years in Human Resources.  Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Strong analytical skills
